Route Overview

Starting at the southern end near Gandy Boulevard, Bayshore Boulevard curves north along the bay through the neighborhoods of Palma Ceia and Beach Park, past Ballast Point Park, and into the South Tampa and Hyde Park neighborhoods. The road ends near downtown Tampa's Bayshore Arts District. Along the way, you pass million-dollar homes, joggers on the sidewalk, and stunning bay views.

Stops Along the Way

1. Ballast Point Park

A waterfront park with a fishing pier, playground, splash pad, and restaurant (Taste of Boston). Views across Hillsborough Bay to MacDill Air Force Base and downtown Tampa.

2. Bayshore Boulevard Sidewalk

The 4.5-mile continuous sidewalk is a Tampa icon. Walkers, joggers, cyclists, and rollerbladers share the path with views of the bay, the Selmon Expressway bridge, and the Tampa skyline.
