Is a group shuttle from Merritt Island cheaper than parking at Port Canaveral?

For a 7-night sailing, a Merritt Island group of 20 driving in 5 cars would spend $800 plus tax on port parking (the port charges $20 per car per day, counting both the arrival and return days, paid by card on entry) and put about 180 miles on those cars getting to the pier and back. One shuttle from Merritt Island replaces that with a single booking and a curbside drop-off where cruise line porters take checked bags.
