Surfing

Florida's east coast offers consistent surfing conditions, especially at Sebastian Inlet State Park (the best waves in the state), Cocoa Beach (Cocoa Beach Pier area), New Smyrna Beach, and Ponce Inlet. The surf is typically in the 2 to 4 foot range, with larger swells during hurricane season and winter nor'easters. Surf lessons and board rentals are widely available.

Paddleboarding and Kayaking

Stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking are popular throughout Central Florida. Top spots include the Indian River Lagoon, Wekiva River, Crystal River, Rainbow River, and Tampa Bay. Many state parks offer kayak and paddleboard rentals. Bioluminescent kayaking in Merritt Island is a magical nighttime experience available during warm months.

Jet Skiing and Parasailing

Jet ski rentals are available at Cocoa Beach, Clearwater Beach, and throughout the Gulf beaches. Parasailing operations run from Clearwater Beach, Cocoa Beach, and Daytona Beach. Pontoon boat rentals for group water outings are available on many inland lakes and the Intracoastal Waterway.

Group Water Sports

BusBrother transports groups to water sports locations across Central Florida. Popular group outings include kayaking at Blue Spring or Wekiva Springs, surf lessons at Cocoa Beach, and beach water sports days at Clearwater. Equipment rental coordination can be arranged in advance for large groups.
