History of Hollywood Drive-In Golf

Hollywood Drive-In Golf opened in 2012 as part of Universal CityWalk Orlando. The courses were designed to be among the most elaborately themed miniature golf experiences in the world, fitting Universal's reputation for immersive entertainment. The late-night hours (until 2 AM) make it one of the few mini golf options available after the theme parks close.

  • Planet Putt Course - 18 alien-themed holes with retro sci-fi styling, flying saucers, and extraterrestrial encounters
  • Late Night Golf - Open until 2 AM with dramatic lighting effects that transform the courses after dark
  • 36-Hole Experience - Play both courses for the full Hollywood Drive-In Golf experience
  • CityWalk Location - Conveniently located at CityWalk, making it easy to combine with dinner and entertainment

  • The 36-hole combo ticket offers a significant discount over buying each course separately
  • CityWalk parking is free after 6 PM, making evening mini golf an affordable outing
  • Ghostly Greens is more challenging, Planet Putt is more family-friendly - play both if time allows
  • This is one of the best late-night activities in Orlando since it is open until 2 AM
