History of Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom was Walt Disney's original vision for a theme park that improved upon the Disneyland concept in California. Construction began in 1967, and the park utilized a revolutionary underground utilidor system - a network of tunnels beneath the park that allows cast members and supplies to move unseen by guests. The park opened with 23 attractions and has grown to over 30, with the most recent additions including TRON Lightcycle Run in Tomorrowland.
