Halloween Events
Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida is the premier Halloween event in Central Florida, featuring haunted houses based on movies, TV shows, and original concepts. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom offers family-friendly trick-or-treating. SeaWorld's Howl-O-Scream and LEGOLAND's Brick or Treat round out the major park events.
Pumpkin Patches and Corn Mazes
Central Florida pumpkin patches operate from late September through October despite the warm weather. Popular spots include Southern Hill Farms in Clermont, A-Maze-Ing Acres in Long Park, and Big Tree Farm in Longwood. Many patches feature corn mazes, hayrides, and farm activities alongside pumpkin selection.
Fall Weather
Fall in Central Florida begins hot in September (90+ degrees) and gradually cools through November. By late October, temperatures typically reach the low 80s during the day with pleasant evenings in the 60s. Hurricane season continues through November, so weather awareness remains important. Rainfall decreases significantly from summer levels.
