Dog Beaches
Honeymoon Island State Park in Dunedin has a dedicated dog beach on the south end of the island. Davis Islands Dog Beach in Tampa is a popular off-leash beach. Smyrna Dunes Park in New Smyrna Beach allows leashed dogs. Cocoa Beach allows leashed dogs on the beach during certain hours. Dog Beach at Fort De Soto Park is another popular option.

Fleet Peeples Park in Winter Park, Dr. Phillips Dog Park in Orlando, and Barkley Square Dog Park in Longwood are top-rated off-leash dog parks. Many Central Florida hiking trails allow leashed dogs including paths at Wekiwa Springs, Tibet-Butler Preserve, and the West Orange Trail.

Orlando has many pet-friendly restaurants with outdoor seating. Disney Springs, Universal CityWalk, and Park Avenue in Winter Park all have pet-friendly outdoor dining options. Tampa's Ybor City and St. Petersburg's Central Avenue also welcome dogs at outdoor tables. Many craft breweries are dog-friendly.
