Orlando to Port Canaveral: 45 miles via SR-528, about 55 minutes. Orlando to Port Tampa Bay: 85 miles via I-4, about 90 minutes. Fort Lauderdale to Port Everglades: 5 miles, about 15 minutes. Driver monitors live traffic and reroutes if needed.

Driver drops group at the cruise line's assigned terminal loading zone. Terminal porters offload luggage directly to the ship (attach cruise-line luggage tags before pickup). Driver coordinates group departure and hands off to porter team.

Terminal check-in and boarding

Group proceeds to terminal check-in (30 to 45 minutes), security screening (15 to 30 minutes), and boarding assigned group. Ship typically stops boarding 60 to 90 minutes before scheduled departure - arrive after that and the ship sails without you.

If round-trip booked, carrier confirms return-day pickup with you before you sail. Debarkation day: driver arrives at pier at scheduled time, waits for group (typical debarkation window 8am to 11am), and runs the reverse trip back to hotel or airport.

Frequently asked questions

What time should we leave the hotel for the cruise port?

Plan pickup 4 hours before scheduled cruise departure. That covers drive time (45 minutes to 2 hours depending on port), terminal check-in (60 to 90 minutes), boarding (30 to 60 minutes), and a 30-minute buffer. Larger groups over 20 passengers should add another 30 minutes for staged terminal arrival.

What happens if my flight is delayed on cruise day?

Send the flight number when booking so the driver monitors your flight in real time. If your flight lands more than 3 hours before cruise departure, delays are usually recoverable. If your flight is delayed past the ship's boarding cutoff, you miss the ship - a pre-cruise hotel night eliminates this risk.

Can the driver take our luggage to the terminal porters?

Yes. Driver drops your group at the cruise line's terminal loading zone where porters take luggage directly for shipboard delivery. Attach cruise-line luggage tags (mailed to you 4 to 6 weeks before sailing) before pickup so porters know which cabin to route each bag to.

Do we tip the driver on cruise embarkation trips?

Yes. Standard cruise-shuttle gratuity is 15 to 20 percent of the one-way fare, or 40 to 100 dollars per group on smaller vehicles. Some carriers include a service fee in the quote (check the invoice); if you see a service fee already added, additional gratuity is optional.

Should we book round-trip or one-way?

Book round-trip for cruises 5+ days long so the debarkation coach is locked in at booking price. Debarkation day is the hardest to source last-minute because thousands of passengers hit the pier at the same time - round-trip removes that risk. One-way is fine for cruises under 5 days if you plan to arrange the return separately.
