About Animal Kingdom
Disney's Animal Kingdom opened in 1998 and is the largest theme park at Walt Disney World at over 500 acres. The park combines traditional theme park attractions with a zoological experience, housing over 2,000 animals representing 300 species. The Tree of Life, a 145-foot sculpted tree, serves as the park's icon.
Pandora - The World of Avatar
Pandora is an immersive land based on James Cameron's Avatar films. Avatar Flight of Passage is a motion simulator that puts riders on the back of a banshee flying over Pandora's landscape. Na'vi River Journey is a peaceful boat ride through a bioluminescent rainforest. The land's theming, especially at night with glowing plants, is stunning.
Safari and Animals
Kilimanjaro Safaris takes guests on a guided truck ride through a 110-acre African savanna with free-roaming animals including giraffes, elephants, lions, rhinos, and hippos. The Maharajah Jungle Trek and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail offer self-guided walking experiences past tigers, gorillas, and other animals in naturalistic habitats.

Animal Kingdom is an excellent choice for groups with diverse age ranges thanks to its mix of rides, animal exhibits, and live entertainment.
