The St. Johns River near Sanford is excellent for shad and bass.
Saltwater Pier Fishing

The Indian River Lagoon between Titusville and Sebastian is a world-class inshore fishery for redfish, seatrout, and snook. Mosquito Lagoon near Titusville is famous for sight-fishing to tailing redfish on shallow flats. Tampa Bay flats produce excellent redfish and trout fishing. These fisheries are best accessed with a local guide on a flats skiff.
