How Much Is Parking at DAB?
New rates took effect January 1, 2026. Both lots are free for the first 15 minutes, $1.00 for 16 to 60 minutes and $2.00 for each additional half hour, up to the daily maximum. Vehicles with a Disabled Veteran license plate park free.
Taxis wait at the east end of the terminal just outside baggage claim, and the airport lists several taxi companies, Lyft and Uber, and private shuttle services on its ground transportation page. Votran, the Volusia County bus system, picks up at DAB on the hour and on the half hour. For a group with luggage, a charter that meets the flight and goes straight to the hotel or the beach avoids splitting into several cars.
How Early Should You Arrive at DAB?
The airport recommends arriving 1 hour before your scheduled departure. According to its FAQ page, DAB opens at 3:30 a.m. and closes one hour after the last flight arrives, and adults 18 and over need an ID that TSA accepts. Allow more time during Speedweeks, Bike Week and spring break, when US 92 and the hotels around the Speedway are busiest.
