Frequently asked questions
How much does a multi-day charter bus tour cost?
Multi-day charter bus tours in Florida run 1,500 to 3,600 dollars per day depending on vehicle size, plus daily driver lodging (about 150 dollars per night) plus daily driver per-diem (about 50 dollars per day) plus any second-driver team fee for single legs over 10 driving hours. A 5-day tour on a 55-passenger motorcoach: about 12,000 to 18,000 dollars per-day total plus 750 dollars lodging plus 250 dollars per-diem.
Do you offer multi-day tour discounts?
Yes. Multi-day trips of 3+ days get a 10 to 15 percent per-day discount compared to booking single-day trips separately. Week-long trips (7+ days) get up to 20 percent per-day discount. Discount comes from vehicle utilization efficiency, not from cutting driver pay or service quality.
What if we need to drive over 10 hours in one day?
Federal FMCSA hours-of-service rule 49 CFR 395 caps commercial passenger driving at 10 driving hours per shift. For any single leg over 10 driving hours, we assign a 2-driver team so one driver rests while the other drives, or split the leg across a mid-route overnight. 2-driver team fee is about 40 to 60 percent above single-driver rate for that day.
Can the same driver stay with our group the whole trip?
Yes typically for 3 to 5 day trips. FMCSA also caps drivers at 60 hours in 7 days (or 70 in 8), so trips longer than 6 days may require a driver swap around day 5-6. If continuity matters, we coordinate the swap to happen during an off-day when your group is stationary.
Does the group's hotel need to accommodate the driver?
Typically the driver stays at a separate hotel (often lower cost) near the group's hotel unless there is a specific reason for co-lodging. Some groups (church mission trips, athletic teams with tight budgets) house the driver in the same hotel and skip the separate lodging line - ask if this is important to you at booking.
