About Adventure Island
Adventure Island is a 30-acre water park located adjacent to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. The park features water slides, a wave pool, a lazy river, and children's play areas set among tropical landscaping. Adventure Island operates seasonally from approximately March through October.
Top Slides
Vanish Point features back-to-back free-fall slides with trap doors. Colossal Curl is a raft slide with a 7-story funnel feature. Solar Vortex is a duo slide with a massive open bowl. Rapids Racer is a dueling slide where two riders race side by side. The park has slides ranging from gentle family rides to extreme thrills.
Relaxation and Family Areas
Endless Surf is the wave pool with varying wave patterns. Rambling Bayou is the lazy river winding through tropical gardens. Fabian's Funport is a multi-level water play area for younger children. Sandy beaches and shaded lounging areas are spread throughout the park.
Group Outings
Adventure Island offers group packages and cabana rentals. BusBrother provides transportation from Orlando and other Central Florida locations. Combo tickets with Busch Gardens allow groups to visit both parks. The park's Tampa location makes it convenient for Tampa Bay area groups.
