About Discovery Cove
Discovery Cove is a unique all-inclusive day resort by SeaWorld, limited to approximately 1,300 guests per day to maintain an exclusive, uncrowded experience. Located on International Drive in Orlando, the park includes a tropical beach, coral reef snorkeling lagoon, aviary, lazy river, and the signature dolphin swim experience. All food, drinks, snorkel gear, and wetsuit are included in admission.
Dolphin Swim Experience
The signature experience is a 30-minute shallow-water interaction with a trained Atlantic bottlenose dolphin in small groups of 6 to 8 guests. Trainers guide guests through touches, signals, and a swim where the dolphin pushes you across the lagoon. Professional photos and video are available for purchase. The dolphin swim requires an advance reservation and is the primary reason most guests visit.
Other Experiences
The Grand Reef is a coral reef environment where guests snorkel among tropical fish, rays, and sharks (behind a barrier). The Wind-Away River lazy river passes through a tropical aviary. The Explorer's Aviary houses hundreds of exotic birds that land on guests' arms for feeding. SeaVenture is an add-on underwater walking tour on the Grand Reef floor.
