Best Viewing Locations
The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex offers the closest public viewing for most launches. Space View Park in Titusville provides free viewing with excellent sight lines across the Indian River. Jetty Park in Cape Canaveral is one of the closest beach viewing spots. KARS Park and Rotary Riverfront Park in Titusville are also popular free viewing areas.
Booster Landings
SpaceX frequently lands Falcon 9 first-stage boosters at Landing Zone 1 at Cape Canaveral or on drone ships in the Atlantic Ocean. Landing Zone 1 landings produce dramatic sonic booms and are visible from the same viewing spots used for launches. The combination of a launch and landing makes for a spectacular experience.
