5 factors that move the price

Every quote is custom. The rate you receive depends on these factors more than any published range:

Service window length

6-hour block is the standard. Extending to 10-hour full-day adds 40 to 75 percent. Each additional hour beyond that is 150 to 250 dollars per hour.

Season

Florida peak wedding season (October through April) prices 10 to 20 percent higher than summer. Saturday nights in peak season sell out earliest.

Distance and route

Hotel-to-venue loops under 30 miles are baseline. Longer loops (over 30 miles) add 100 to 300 dollars for fuel and driver hours.

Multiple pickup locations

Two-hotel loops are baseline. Three or more pickup stops add 50 to 150 dollars for extended pickup window.

Driver attire

Formal black-suit driver attire is included at no charge on request with 48 hours notice.

Special vehicle features

Restroom coach, party lighting, or premium interior may add 200 to 500 dollars per vehicle over the baseline coach.

Worked example: 120-guest Orlando wedding

120 guests staying at 2 hotels near Rosen Shingle Creek, ceremony and reception both on-property, 6-hour continuous service window (5pm to 11pm): 2 x 56-passenger motorcoaches at 1,900 dollars each = 3,800 dollars total. Add 400 dollars for a late-night return loop past midnight = 4,200 dollars total transportation cost, or 35 dollars per guest. Compare to per-guest Uber XL for the same movement: 90 dollars per Uber XL x 20 vehicles = 1,800 dollars for a single leg only, plus 90-minute arrival spread. Charter wins on price and timing.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a wedding shuttle cost in Florida?

A Florida wedding shuttle costs 900 to 1,400 dollars for a 14-passenger minibus, 1,100 to 1,700 dollars for a 25-passenger minibus, 1,300 to 2,000 dollars for a 36-passenger midsize coach, and 1,600 to 2,400 dollars for a 56-passenger motorcoach for a 6-hour service block. Full 10-hour wedding day adds 40 to 75 percent.

How many shuttles do we need for a 120-guest wedding?

For 120 wedding guests we typically deploy two 56-passenger motorcoaches or three midsize coaches. Rule of thumb: 1 coach per 55 guests plus a 20 percent buffer for elderly guests, formal attire (slower boarding), and late arrivals. Two coaches let you run continuous loops so no guest waits longer than 15 minutes.

Is a wedding shuttle worth it?

Yes if any of these apply: guest count over 50, more than one hotel in the block, ceremony and reception at different venues, alcohol at reception, elderly guests, formal attire, out-of-town guests. A shuttle removes drunk-driving liability, eliminates parking headaches, and typically costs less than a fraction of guests taking rideshare.

When should we book a wedding shuttle?

Book 6 to 9 months before the wedding date. Peak Florida wedding season (October through April) sells out earliest. A 3-month lead time still works for smaller groups but limits vehicle choice. Under 4 weeks out, expect premium pricing and possible substitution of vehicle class.

Do wedding shuttle rates include a tip?

No. Driver gratuity is typically 15 to 20 percent of the base rate, paid separately at the end of service. Most couples add gratuity to the final invoice or hand cash to the driver at end of shift. Some wedding shuttle companies include gratuity in the quoted rate; always confirm before booking.
