On request for school-group trips, we assign drivers holding both the Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements. Full background check and MVR summary provided before the trip.
3-point seat belts standard
All motorcoaches manufactured 2016 or later carry 3-point seat belts on every passenger seat per NHTSA rule 49 CFR 571.208. Confirmed on the specific vehicle assigned to your trip before booking.
Backup vehicle protocol
Every carrier maintains a nearest-depot backup vehicle plan. In a mechanical breakdown, a replacement coach is dispatched from the nearest depot (typically 30 to 90 minutes in Central Florida) at no additional charge.
Chaperones ride free
Charter pricing is per-vehicle not per-person. Chaperones, teachers, and district staff ride at no additional cost as long as headcount fits within vehicle capacity.

Do you accept school district purchase orders?
Yes. Purchase orders are the primary booking mechanism for approved district accounts. Net-30 payment terms. No credit card required at booking. PO number referenced on invoice sent within 3 business days of trip completion.
What insurance do you carry for school trips?
Federal FMCSA minimum is 5 million dollars commercial auto liability, which BusBrother carriers meet or exceed. For districts that require 10 million dollars per the district contract, we assign carriers holding the higher coverage tier. Certificates of insurance naming the district as additional insured available within 24 hours.
Do your drivers have the S-endorsement?
On request for school-group trips, we assign drivers holding both the Passenger (P) endorsement and the School Bus (S) endorsement. Both endorsements together indicate the driver passed additional testing for school passenger handling. Standard for K-12 field trips; optional for university and adult school groups.
Do all motorcoaches have seat belts?
All motorcoaches manufactured November 2016 or later are federally required to have 3-point seat belts on every passenger seat per NHTSA rule 49 CFR 571.208. For school-group trips we default to 2016-or-newer vehicles. Minibuses always have seat belts regardless of year. Confirm the specific vehicle assigned to your trip carries seat belts before booking.
How far in advance should we book a field trip?
Standard weekday field trips: 4 to 8 weeks in advance for standard vehicles, 6 to 8 weeks for peak season (April, May, October). End-of-year field trips book out earliest. Same-week booking possible for smaller groups under 30 students at premium rates. Athletic team travel booked less than 14 days ahead subject to vehicle availability.
