What breaks with standard-market charter vendors
The 4 pain points that come up on almost every Travel Agents intake call:
- Cruise ground transport that shows up at the wrong terminal because the cruise line reassigned pier day-of
- Groups arriving spread over 90 minutes at the pier because 3 Uber XLs got surge-priced separately
- Vendor charging retail rate to a travel agent client with no agent commission back
- Debarkation-day pickup unavailable because the return coach was never locked at booking
What we do differently for Travel Agents
Agent commission
10 percent commission on qualifying group bookings (10+ passengers) paid to your IATA or CLIA agent number. Standard 30 days after trip completion. No minimum annual volume.
Group-code booking
One booking, one confirmation, one cruise-line group code. All passengers under the same agent record. Easier tracking for your CRM and easier billing for your client.
Terminal-flex coordination
Cruise lines routinely reassign terminals 24 to 72 hours before sailing. Every BusBrother cruise driver monitors the terminal assignment on the morning of the trip and drops at the correct pier without you having to communicate the change.
Round-trip lock
Debarkation day is the hardest day of the year to source last-minute at Port Canaveral, Port Tampa Bay, or Port Everglades. Book round-trip and the return coach is locked at booking-day pricing, guaranteed.
Cruise-line partnership rates
For high-volume travel agents (50+ cruise groups per year), we negotiate direct with the operating carriers for locked seasonal rates 8 to 15 percent below published fares.
Meet-and-greet at MCO baggage claim
For airport-then-cruise combo groups, the driver meets your clients at MCO baggage claim, walks them to the coach, and handles all luggage. No client confusion about where to go.
How the workflow works
Frequently asked questions
Do travel agents get commission on charter bus bookings?
Yes. Registered travel agents (IATA or CLIA) get 10 percent commission on qualifying group bookings (10+ passengers). Commission calculated on the trip total (excluding gratuity) and paid to your agent account 30 days after trip completion. No minimum annual volume; single-trip agents welcome.
Can you handle a group that arrives at MCO and then goes to the cruise port?
Yes. Airport-to-port group transfers are one of our most-booked routes. Driver meets your group at MCO baggage claim with a printed group-name sign, walks them to the coach, and drives directly to Port Canaveral (55 minutes) or the group's assigned Florida port. Full luggage handling included.
What if the cruise line changes the terminal 24 hours before sailing?
Cruise line terminal assignments routinely shift in the 24 to 72 hours before departure. Every BusBrother cruise driver monitors the terminal assignment on the morning of the trip via the cruise line's operations portal and drops at the correct pier without you having to communicate the change. Zero missed sailings due to terminal reassignment in the past 24 months.
Should we book round-trip cruise transportation?
Yes for any cruise 5+ days long. Debarkation day at Port Canaveral, Port Tampa Bay, or Port Everglades is the hardest day of the year to source last-minute because thousands of passengers hit the pier at the same time. Round-trip locks in the return coach at booking-day pricing. One-way is fine for 3-day cruises where you can arrange the return separately.
How do we book against a cruise line group code?
Provide the cruise line group code at booking. We book the ground transfer as a single booking under that group code with all passengers under your agent record. Cruise line receives our confirmation for group ground transport; you keep the group intact through your booking system.
