About Brightline

Brightline is the only privately-owned intercity passenger railroad in the United States, operating high-speed service between Orlando and Miami. The trains reach speeds up to 125 mph and connect Orlando International Airport to West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Aventura, and Miami. The service provides a comfortable alternative to driving the congested I-95 and Florida Turnpike corridors.

Orlando Station

The Brightline Orlando station is located inside the Orlando International Airport (MCO) complex at Terminal C. This seamless airport-to-train connection makes it easy for travelers to fly into Orlando and take the train south to Fort Lauderdale or Miami without needing a rental car. The journey from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale takes approximately 3 hours.

Stations and Schedule

Brightline operates multiple daily departures between Orlando and Miami with stops in West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Aventura, and Miami. Service classes include Smart (coach) and Premium with extra legroom, complimentary snacks, and beverages. Tickets can be purchased online or through the Brightline app.

When to Choose Train vs Bus

Brightline is excellent for individual travelers and small groups going between Orlando and South Florida. For groups of 10 or more with luggage, BusBrother charter bus service is often more cost-effective and provides door-to-door service rather than station-to-station. BusBrother can also provide group transfers between Brightline stations and final destinations.
