How the Onboard WiFi add-on works
A cellular router with 4G or 5G modems is mounted in the coach and broadcasts a private WiFi network for up to 55 simultaneous users. Coverage matches the carrier network of the SIM installed (typically Verizon or T-Mobile on Florida interstates). Signal drops in rural Panhandle stretches and along parts of the Everglades corridor but stays strong across I-4, I-95, I-75, Florida's Turnpike, and all major metros.

Pricing detail
Basic tier is 50 dollars per trip and includes 10 GB pooled data - fine for email, messaging, and light browsing across 25 to 55 passengers on a 4 to 6 hour trip. Premium tier is 150 dollars per trip with 50 GB pooled data and priority 5G routing where available - required for video streaming, video calls, or multi-day trips. Multi-day rentals bundle at 400 dollars for 3 days with unlimited data (fair-use throttled after 100 GB).

Frequently asked questions
Is onboard WiFi already included on charter buses?
Some newer 2020+ motorcoaches include basic complimentary WiFi from the carrier as a standard amenity, but data caps are low (typically 5 GB pooled) and speeds throttle after that. For any group needing video calls, streaming, or serious work during the trip, the paid 50 to 150 dollar add-on with 10 to 50 GB is the reliable option.
Will onboard WiFi work in rural Florida areas?
Coverage matches the underlying cellular carrier. Verizon and T-Mobile deliver reliable 4G or 5G across all Florida interstates (I-4, I-95, I-75, Turnpike) and every major metro. Signal weakens in rural Panhandle stretches, parts of the Everglades corridor, and the Ocala National Forest. For trips through those areas we deploy dual-modem routers with both Verizon and T-Mobile SIMs for redundancy.
Can passengers stream Netflix or YouTube on charter bus WiFi?
Yes with the Premium 150 dollar tier (50 GB pooled data). Basic tier at 10 GB is not enough - 5 passengers streaming Netflix HD for 2 hours consumes about 30 GB pooled. Book Premium for any group planning to stream video, and let the driver know at pickup so quality-of-service routing prioritizes video.
How many devices can connect at once?
Up to 55 simultaneous connections on the Premium router. Basic tier caps at 25 concurrent devices. For a 55-passenger motorcoach with mixed personal-and-work devices book Premium. Devices connecting drops the effective bandwidth per user, so streaming groups get better throughput with fewer connected users.
