Frequently asked questions
Can I drink alcohol on a party bus in Florida?
Yes - Florida F.S. 316.1936 exempts commercial passenger vehicles from the open container law provided the driver is sober and passengers are not in the driver compartment. Every BusBrother party bus is booked with a CDL Passenger-endorsed driver who is DOT-certified and legally prohibited from consuming alcohol. Passengers 21+ can drink freely in the passenger cabin. See the /occasion/bachelor-party-bus-florida/ page for full alcohol logistics.
How loud does the party sound system get?
The full 500-watt system reaches roughly 105 dB at the rear bench with subwoofer engaged - loud enough to feel bass in your chest but capped by a driver-controlled limiter at 108 dB to protect passenger hearing on long trips. Basic 125 dollar PA tops out around 95 dB which is party-loud but conversation-friendly. Most brewery tour groups run at 85 to 90 dB.
Do I need to bring my own music or Spotify subscription?
Yes - the sound system streams from your device only. Bring a phone with a Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon Music subscription and a downloaded playlist for cellular dead-zones. The bus does not carry a pre-loaded music library. Some carriers include onboard WiFi (add-on at 50 to 150 dollars) which lets multiple riders queue songs live.
Can the sound system be turned off partway through the trip?
Yes - the driver console has a volume knob and mute switch. For split-purpose trips (party going out, quiet ride home for hungover passengers) just tell the driver at the start of each leg. LED lighting on full party bus packages is also driver-toggled.
